The surface should always be wiped with an acceptable solvent for removing oil and grease. Light sanding or light abrasive blasting, and/or a phosphoric etch
should be used on aluminum that is not anodized or alodized to assure good adhesion, Etching solutions should be used according to the manufacturer’s
instructions.
